Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. In my role as an Assistant Professor of Social Work at North Carolina A&T State University (Aggie Pride!), I focus my research program on informal mentoring and social capital.

 

In my current position, I have the distinct pleasure of teaching in the only Joint Program of Social Work between an HBCU and historically-white university. I teach both MSW- and PhD-level courses, as well as sit on steering committees for both degree programs. 

 

When I am not working or habitually checking my email on my phone, I am playing Eye Spy with my young son or going for a run.
